PLACEMENTS

Do you have a large rock that you would like delivered? We can boom it for you! Our boom goes out 15 feet from either side of our truck. Keep in mind that our driver has to be aware of overhead wires, fences, other houses, trees, etc. Our driver will do his best to get your item as close to your desired location as possible. However, there are limits to the truck and cranes capacities. If you require an exact placement that requires other machinery we do offer such services at additional cost.

PRICE: Boom Truck $115.00 per hour from the time our driver leaves our yard until he returns. Minimum charge of one hour.

DRILLING

Would you like to create a bubbling rock? Found one you absolutely love at Silverthorn Landscape Supplies? OR do you have a rock that you would like to turn into a bubbler? We got you covered!

We can drill a rock that you already have, or one that you pick out from our yard. We are able to drill many different sizes (which enables you to create a unique water feature with specific size and water flow requirements). We can even drill a Core Light hole along with the regular tubing hole so that you can have some Accent Night Lighting!
Some restrictions apply as not all rocks are drillable.

PRICE:
$8.00 per inch for up to 2″ drill hole
$16.00 per inch for 3″ drill hole and for all heavy density rocks (determined by SLS)
$40.00 for a Core Light Drill Hole

*Note: Jasper, Misty Black, Muskoka Peach Granite, Hunters Cove Field Stone and other select rocks tend to be heavy density and are therefore subject to the double drill charge.

CUTTING

If you have a stone, natural or manufactured, that needs to be cut to a specific size for your project, let us know!

Give us a call and let us know how many stones you need cut and we will check our availability to see if we can cut it for you that day. If we are unable to cut it the same day, or if you do not need it the same day, just drop it off and we will give you a call when it is done. Simple!

PRICE: $20.00 minimum charge, and then $1.00 per minute after the first 5 minutes (plus applicable taxes)

ENGRAVING

Would you like to create a unique way to display your house number or family name? Want a creative and fun wedding, birthday or anniversary gift? Would you like a way to remember a friend, family member or pet in a beautiful and one-of-a-kind way? Get a rock engraved!

Whether you already have a rock, or would like to browse our yard for the perfect rock, we can work together to produce a beautiful engraving. Words, numbers, pictures, colour, black, or white, we do our best to capture your vision!

Give us a call or come to the yard and we will get everything set up. We just need some information and details from you and then we will get to work!

PRICE:
For names and letters all engravings start at $180.00 per square foot

Offsite: $230.00 per square foot includes $25.00 non-refundable site visit

Price for images is determined on an individual basis.

CONSIDERATIONS

When picking out a rock to be engraved it is important to be mindful of the surface of the rock. Some rocks have very smooth faces, while others are very rough and even gritty. If you are unsure if the rock you have picked out is suitable to be engraved, please don't hesitate to ask our staff.

It is important to keep in mind the accessibility of your yard when contemplating a rock to be engraved and delivered. Our trucks are very large and heavy and may not fit between houses or other structures. Speak with one of our staff if you have any questions or concerns.
