Silverthorn Landscape Supplies (SLS) has been in business for over 35 years! We have all the supplies homeowners throughout Southwestern Ontario need to create the backyard of their dreams.

Gord & Hetty Teuber started selling mushroom compost from a little pile they made on their drive way. That was over 30 years ago! Since then, SLS has grown into a huge supply depot, offering products from all over the world. Don’t worry – we still have our famous mushroom compost!

We have an extensive range of products that will transform any landscaping around your property from ordinary to extraordinary!

Whether you are hiring a contractor or you are a Do-It-Yourselfer, we have the products, supplies and the know-how you need.

Our mission at SLS is to provide ideas, support, know-how, friendly service and quality landscaping products for any customer or contractor as they work to transform and enhance their gardens, work places and outdoor living spaces from ordinary to extraordinary!

We want to provide the education and superior products to homeowners so they can truly improve their outdoor space and create a place that brings them true pleasure.

Silverthorn has proudly been part of the Elgin - St. Thomas region for over 30 years. We feel very grateful to be able to live and work in this energetic and caring community. We have all seen many changes over the years, and there has always been an atmosphere of connectedness; knowing that together we can make a difference in the lives of others.

Volunteer groups and non-profit organizations do so much to help the communities that all of us are a part of, and they can't do it alone. Community service and volunteerism are an investment in our community and the people who live in it.
